7898 Cargo Train Deluxe is a Trains set that was released in 2006. It has 856 pieces.

Description[]

The set contains a cargo train, consisting of a green electric locomotive, a side-tipping wagon, boxcar, crane car and flatbed. Also included are a forklift, liftable roadster, flatbed truck, 20 curved, 8 straight, and two turnout rails, and 5 minifigures.

Notes[]

This set was included in the Product Collections set 66239 Train Super Set.
This set needed 9 AA batteries for it to function.
This set, along with 7897, are the only LEGO train sets to have a horn function.
The locomotive's design seems to be loosely based on that of the "Crocodile" Locomotives.
