Background

With direction from Gandalf and Elrond, Aragorn, wielding the reforged sword Anduril, Legolas and Gimli sought out the King of the Dead and his army to help in the Battle of Minas Tirith against Sauron, as the army would answer the call of Isildur's heir- Aragorn. Following Gandalf's advice, Aragorn and his followers took the Black Ships of the Corsairs of Umbar, Sauron's allies, to counterattack the Orcish army sieging Minas Tirith in an ambush to turn the battle.
