7948 Outpost Attack is a Kingdoms set released in 2010. It includes a tower that is guarded by a Spear Lion Knight and a Crossbow Lion Knight. It also has a catapult which is used by a Torch Dragon Knight. The Outpost is located on the border of the two kingdoms and is the Lion Kingdom's first line of defense.
Description
- Tower
The tower is the main part of the set. This is built on a 8x10x1/3 baseplate. The first story has a door at the front with a battle axe on each side, two walls at the sides, and some supporting columns at the back. The second story is surrounded by battlements on three sides, and has a Lion banner handing down at the front. The tower in continued up from the second story, but is much smaller. The front of this part of the tower can be blown inwards. At the top of the tower is a turret enclosed on three sides by battlements. There is a red and a golden flag on the battlements.
- Catapult
The Dragon Catapult is the other main part of this set. This is build up of a large catapult structured on a base that can be driven by four decorated wheels. On each of the sides of the catapult is a Dragon shield. The set includes at least one boulder to fire.
- Minifigures
The set includes three minifigures: A Spear Lion Knight, a Crossbow Lion Knight, and a Torch Dragon Knight.
Notes
- This set has a unique design of tilted walls partially going inward on the second floor.
