This is the first Star Wars advent calendar.
A promotional version of this set was made available at the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 for US $50. This version was limited to 1000 copies, each individually numbered, and featured an exclusive packaging design, as well as a limited edition art print.
The Clone Pilot in the set has a plain black head as opposed to one with a face printed on as it does in other sets.
The exclusive Rebel Pilot in this set is the exactly the same as Zev Senesca except his helmet is plain white rather than having printings on it.
This set has four different pilot minifigures, 2 from The Clone Wars era (Pilot Battle Droid, Clone Pilot) and 2 from the Rebel/Empire era (TIE Pilot, Rebel Pilot).
