8000 TECHNIC Pit Droid is a TECHNIC model of a Pit Droid from Star Wars that was released in 2000.
If the droid's "nose" is pressed, the droid will stand up from a folded position. The droid can then be folded back up.

The DUM-series pit droids were developed by Serv-O-Droid Inc. on Cyrillia, where they were used for light construction, labor, and repair, as well as acting as assistants in workshops, even though they were very clumsy.
