8437 Future Car / Sahara Blaster is a TECHNIC set released in 1997. The set includes a model of a futuristic off-road car/Dune buggy. The alternate model for the set is a radar vehicle.

Features[]

The set features front wheel HOG (hand of god) steering with working cabin steering wheel, dependent rear suspension, rear differential, rear-mounted faux V4 engine with transparent cylinder, working gull-wing doors and engine hatch.

The steering for this set is done using flex cables instead of rack and pinion.

The engine of the vehicle can be easily removed to support motorization (using the 8735 Motor Set, 9 volt).
