8454 Rescue Truck is a TECHNIC model of an airport fire truck. Six of the eight wheels are controlled by the steering system, allowing for fluid turning despite the large number of wheels. The hose arm can be controlled by the adjacent knob as a joystick. The model uses two shock absorbers to open the back door and the side doors. Only one side can be open at one time.
