Background[]
In the Slizer storyline, the Ice Slizer is one of the Good Slizers battling against the Evil Slizers for control of Planet Slizer. He resides in the ice continent, where he hunts vicious furred monsters and searches for his power source, ice crystals. In one of the comics, the Good Slizers combine to form the Super Slizer, which prompts the Evil Slizers to form the Mega Slizer in retaliation.
In the 1999 Throwbots storyline, Ski is the protector of the Ski Planet.
In both storylines, Ice/Ski is one of the survivors when the Slizer/Throwbot Planet is struck by a meteor on New Year's Eve 2000. The Good Slizers continue to battle against the new mutant Slizers.
Now you and your friends can build and collect 12 cool Throwbots. Their amazing spring action arms let you launch discs that fly high! Great for targer[sic] shooting contests or fast-flying battles. Launch yourself to victory! Each Throwbot measures approximately 3 1/2" tall unless otherwise noted. Each Throwbot comes with two discs. Plus, most sets include tips on combining multiple Throwbots to construct one SUPERBOT!

Ski can really go through ice and snow. This cool Throwbot lives in a frozen world. He can ski down a mountain with one pole while flinging a disc at the same time. When he hits the ice, he quickly switches to skates and zooms away.

Ice is the cool dude - right at home in the snow, who puts the freeze on opponents.
