Flare emerged from the crater on the Slizer Planet when a meteor struck the planet on New Year's Eve 2000, possibly as a mutant form of Rock/Granite. Flare and the other mutant Slizers attack the surviving heroic Slizers, seeking supremacy over the planet. He is characterized as having sharp vision which he uses to scan the planet, and his flying skills help him evade meteorite showers.
Now you and your friends can build and collect 12 cool Throwbots. Their amazing spring action arms let you launch discs that fly high! Great for targer[sic] shooting contests or fast-flying battles. Flare Slizer is the only flying Slizer left, which makes him unbeatable in the air. He has to watch out for meteorite showers, which he can use his super diving techniques to avoid. He has extremely good vision and can spot objects from a long way away. Mission: to scan the entire planet in minutes and report his findings to the new Slizer generation. This will help in their attempt to take over the Planet Slizer. Equipment: disc-throwing tail, wing-shields and landing gear, gas mask.
