8689 Toa Tahu was a BIONICLE set released in July of 2008. He is one of the Mistika. The set contains Tahu in his adaptable armor form, with a Nyrah Ghostblaster, four jet rockets for speed, a rotating blade, and the Mask of Shielding. The mask has changed form, along with the rest of Tahu's armor, to become more aerodynamic. It is Tahu's third appearance in a set. He was shown combining with 8945 Solek for more power, though this was only to advertise the connection feature, and was not shown in the story. He is a Toa of Fire. The set is also included in K8688 BIONICLE Mistika Collection. The blades on the shield are mounted on the shield used in the Gahlok-Kal set.
