* The same concept is used in 2005 for a ''good'' battering ram/storm tower. Even the shield idea is reused, but than the newer plastic version, instead of paper. The concept is more basic, making the price lower.

LEGO → System → Castle → Knights' Kingdom II

8800 Vladek's Siege Engine is a Knights' Kingdom II set released in 2004. It comes with a red and black siege engine, Vladek, and a Shadow Knight. It was created so Vladek and lay siege to Castle Talonjay, which is in Jayko's province. It is possible that this battering ram/storm tower is under an evil spell, judging the golden dragon head.

Notes

  • It is good to combine this set with the rather strange castle wall set, as the gate is made for the ram to rush in, and the wall itself is at the same height as the drawbridge like part of the vehicle. The sets fits perfectly. This is because the two were released as one as the limited edition set Vladek attack.
  • This is the only other set that uses the golden mask/head of the Golden Dragon (Orient Expedition), and the yet only one to use a crocodile/dragon style brick as a weapon.
  • Interestingly, both the castle wall and this set have a already used golden brick.
  • The same concept is used in 2005 for a good battering ram/storm tower. Even the shield idea is reused, but than the newer plastic version, instead of paper. The concept is more basic, making the price lower.
