8851 Excavator is a TECHNIC set released in 1984. It was the first set to feature the first-generation Pneumatic system.

Description[]

The set includes 347 parts that can be built into a large pneumatic excavator model. It has moving tracks, a rotating superstructure and positionable boom, stick and bucket.
