8956 Stone Chopper was released in January 2009 as part of the LEGO Power Miners line (it was numbered 1st of the sets in the series). It includes Duke and a Meltrox rock monster Minifigures. The vehicle failed to play a significant role in the story line for the Power Miners theme. After the first couple months, the vehicle nearly disappeared from the story line altogether.

Description

The Stone Chopper is a small bike-shaped vehicle. Its back wheel is a normal tire, while its front wheel is made up of a two blades ("choppers") with a disc-shaped piece in between them. The driver stands at an angle between the two wheels, and holds onto a handle used to drive the vehicle. There is a small crystal on the side of the Chopper to act as a power source. However, on some set images, it is on the right side of the vehicle, while in the instructions, it is situated on the left.
