Admiral Piett is a Star Wars minifigure released in 2011.
Description
The minifigure has a stone grey kapi hat, a stone gray torso with an Admiral insignia, and stone gray pants. He also shares his face with the new version of Severus Snape, a character from the Harry Potter theme. This scenario has also happened with Padme Amidala having Hermione Granger's head in 2011.
Background
Firmus Piett was a Captain stationed onboard the Super Star Destroyer Executor, Darth Vader's personal flagship. After the ship's commander, Admiral Ozzel, was killed by Vader above Hoth for having the fleet enter the system too close to the Rebel base, Vader promoted Piett to Admiral. One year later, Piett was killed on the Executor during the Battle of Endor, when the ship's bridge was destroyed by an out-of-control A-wing starfighter, causing the whole ship to lose control and crash into the Death Star II. This incident resulted in the complete destruction of the Super Star Destroyer, killing Piett and anyone else onboard the ship.
