The Apatosaurus (ah-PAT-uh-SAWR-us) is an animal brick-built figure introduced in Creator in 2012. A non-physical Jurassic World figure also appears in video games.
Description[]
As one of the 3-in-1 models featured in 6914 Prehistoric Hunters, the Apatosaurus is comprised largely of bright red, dark red, and Brick Yellow bricks. It measures over 11 inches (29cm) long and has an opening mouth, a movable tail, and poseable legs.
Background[]
Apatosaurus (meaning “Deceptive Lizard”) is an extinct sauropod found commonly in USA.
LEGO Jurassic World[]
Apatosaurus appears as one of the 20 dinosaurs that are featured in the game. It only appears physically in "Gyrosphere Valley" where several are seen in the Gyrosphere attraction. It is also the sauropod skeleton seen in the Visitor Center in the Jurassic Park levels of the game.
The amber of Apatosaurus is found in the level "Commuications Center" and collecting the bone boxe minikits of that level unlocks the skeleton skin for Apatosaurus. As a playable dinosaur, it can stomp on the ground to break objects like Brachiosaurus.
LEGO Dimensions[]
A non-playable Apatosaurus is found in the Jurassic World hub world found on the outskirts of the park. It reuses the same model from LEGO Jurassic World.
