Background
Aragog was Hagrid's giant spider. He lives in a large cave in the Dark Forest outside Hogwarts. He has hundreds of Acromantula children and, in a shot of the film, extremely gigantic. In the film Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince, to Hagrid's dismay he dies. Professor Horace Slughorn holds an unofficial funeral for Aragog, and entitles him "King of the Acromantulas". He has been seen in clips for the video game LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, has appeared in 4727 Aragog in the Dark Forest, and appears in the set 4738 Hagrid's Hut. In the new Hagrid's Hut set he has swords for legs.
