An Assassin Droid is a minifigure from the Star Wars theme. They appear in three sets, in which one is a super-pack that contains another set with the Assassin Droid minifigure.

Description

Assassin Droid is built out of 8 pieces with only one piece that is not coloured silver. The head is bult of a white stud, cone, bar 1.5L with clip, and a transparent orange stud in between the other stud and cone. The body is made from a minifig mechanical torso, a straight and curved robotic arm, and conected robot legs. This variation only appears in 10188 Death Star.

In 2009, a second variation appeared in a Clone Wars battle pack. The only difference is that there is metallic silver pieces instead of white.[1]

Background

Assassin Droid was a highly advanced droid mainly hired by Bounty Hunters, crime lords, and corrupt politicians to exacute specific targets. These droids generally performed with unflinching loyalty to their masters. Since their missions generally required a far higher degree of independent skill, savvy, and judgment than normally possessed by simple war droids, their programming subroutines, circuitry, and memory cores were of correspondingly higher sophistication and quality.
