Assault on Ninjago City is the one hundred and seventy-eighth episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu
Plot [ ] Dareth is on a Ninjago City tour bus, spreading word of the heroism of his "Brown Ninja" persona, when Wojira 's tidal wave floods the city. Taking charge, Dareth directs his fellow passengers into the interior of the bus, and tries to steer it as the floodwaters sweep it along. Jay , driving a new car-submarine hybrid , arrives just in time to help Dareth and the others escape from the bus. Dareth is swept away by the water but rescued by Nya 's swift action, and he quickly capitalizes on her recognition of him.
Gayle Gossip is continuing to report on the story when Wojira appears again, and is evacuated with her crew aboard the Destiny's Bounty APS suit to evacuate civilians, while Kai and Zane pilot submersibles against Gripe and the Maaray Guards . Benthomaar tries to reason with his former comrades, but his words go unheeded. Outnumbered, the Ninja are bolstered by Cole returned from his journey to Shintaro .
Wu and P.I.X.A.L. continue their evacuation efforts, but Wojira closes in on them forcing Kai and Zane to part company with Cole and Benthomaar. Lloyd comes to the Bounty's aid as well, but Wojira proves too formidable for either the mech or their subs. One of Wojira's blasts knocks the Bounty from the sky, and Jay's attempt to join the battle results in his vehicle being clamped in Wojira's jaws. An attack by Nya prompts the beast to drop Jay into the floodwaters, and Nya then launches herself at Wojira and Kalmaar.
