The Astro-Pilot is a Mars Mission minifigure.

The Astro-Pilot wears the standard Mars Mission astronaut white and orange spacesuit, with a white helmet and gold visor. He reuses the face of the Scorpion Palace Guard from Orient Expedition.

The Astro-Pilot is an expert pilot, having experience flying jets, rockets, and planetary cruisers. During the Mars Mission, he flies the MX-11 Astro Fighter, which he is skilled enough to land on eight square feet of bare sand. However, his reckless and risk-taking nature makes him less reliable than the Dropship Pilot

  • In Crystalien Conflict, the Astro-Pilot's minifigure is used on the HUD thumbnail for the Engineer. The same design is used by various astronauts in the game's animated cutscenes.
  • In 4850307 LEGO Battles, the Astro-Pilot's design is used as the basis for Biff.

The hot-shot Astro-Pilot has flown every jet, rocket, and planetary cruiser you can name, and then some. He can pinpoint a target from five miles away, land his Astro Fighter on eight square feet of bare sand, and dodge every rock in a meteor swarm without breaking a sweat.
