The Baby Fafnir Dragon,[1] also known as the Baby Dragon[2] or Mini-Dragon,[3] is a dragon from the Vikings theme.
Description[]
The Baby Fafnir Dragon is comprised of 21 pieces, 16 of which are black. It uses a similar build to the Wyvern with some modifications. The body is built from two TECHNIC Lever 3Ms, a Brick 1X1 W. 2 Knobs, two Catch W. Cross Holes, and two medium stone grey Light Sword - Blades. The neck and head are represented by Fric/Stump With Cross and Mini Claw W/ Fork, connected to the body via a bright red 2M Cross Axle W. Groove; the Mini Claw resembles an open mouth, and its studs represent eyes. The tail is a Tip Of The Tail Ø6,47. All arms and legs use Space Skeleton Arms, with a 1/2 Bush on each shoulder. Finally, the transparent red Dragon Wings are attached to the body with a pair of Plate 1X1 W/ Holders.
Background[]
The Baby Fafnir Dragon is captured by the Viking Warriors and held captive in the Viking Fortress. This appears to be the adult Fafnir's motivation for attacking the fortress.

- The Baby Fafnir Dragon appears to share many of its parts with the dinosaurs in the unreleased Adventure sets 7431 Dino Trap Truck, 7432 Dino Observation Complex, and 7433 Dino Air Transport. It is likely that the dinosaurs' build was repurposed and slightly altered for Vikings after Adventure was cancelled.
