I don't really think so. I mean, LEGO is aimed at children, and I don't think that they would be too bothered if their soldiers were from the Indiana Jones theme. I also don't think that LEGO feels the need to appease every request, otherwise there probably would have been a steampunk or Hellenistic theme at some point.

Yes well since there were army men in the movie and people were wanting army men why wouldn't lego grab the chance to make fans happy?

Because they don't actually owe the fans anything and they already do plenty for them. It's not just for the fans.
