A Boggart is a shape-shifting creature from the LEGO Harry Potter Theme that takes on the form of the minifigure you are playing as's worst fear. Because of their shape-shifting ability, no one knows what a boggart looks like when it is alone, as it instantly changes when you first see it.
Background
In Year 3 of the video game LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, Professor Lupin teaches the students how to defeat a Boggart version of Professor Snape. Also, the Boggart minifigure included in Professor Lupin's Classroom is not the original appearance of a Boggart, it depicts Neville Longbottoms worst fear (which is Professor Snape) with a charm to make it funnier (Snape in Neville's grandmother's clothes).

Notes
- The LEGO Minifigure has normal legs while the one in the video game has green dress piece for legs. The video game incarnation also uses Snape's 2010 head and hair, as well as flesh hands.
