Bolg is a Minifigure from LEGO The Hobbit: The Video Game.
Background[]
Bolg is the son of Azog. Bolg is his subordinate and is sent by him to track down Thorin's party after Azog is recalled to Dol Guldur by the Necromancer. He eventually tracks them to Mirkwood and attacks, but they escape him after his forces become embroiled in a battle with Mirkwood Elves under Legolas and Tauriel.
He later pursues them to Lake-town and once again encounters the two Elves, and flees after a battle with Legolas. After reporting to his father Azog, Bolg is sent to Gundabad to collect another army of Orcs, and leads them to join his father's forces at the Battle of the Five Armies. He faces Tauriel in battle once again and kills Kíli, before engaging in a battle with Legolas once again that results in his death.
Notes[]
- Bolg is portrayed by Lawrence Makoare who previously played Lurtz, Gothmog and The Witch-King in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
- In The Hobbit novel, Bolg leads the goblins in the Battle of Five Armies, his father having been killed decades earlier, and is slain by Beorn.
