Description[]
Boney is a standard white skeleton, with the additional accessories of a bright blue Magic Hat and a black Scarf.
Background[]
Boney is a member of the skeleton crew making the Twisted Time Train run on time.[2] According to the UK catalog, he performs daring acts with the Spooky Train Gang and reports to Baron Blomberg.[3]
In the Timebuster comics in Klick Magazine, Boney and Goldie encounter Tim and Ingo while riding the Twisted Time Train. Boney fires the train's cannon, transforming Tim into a monster. The time bandits' boss, Tony Twister, arrives in the Time Tunnelator and orders Boney to fire the cannon again, this time turning the Flying Time Vessel into a prison. However, Ingo tricks Boney into repeatedly firing the cannon wildly while trying to shoot him. He misses each shot, accidentally undoing the transformations and turning Tony into a pig instead. Tim and Ingo escape, leaving the time bandits behind.[4]

- Boney's name is exclusively mentioned in his Collectible Card released as a promotion for the LEGO Builder's Club. The card lists further details about his character, although a clear scan or transcript has not yet been made available online. The text on the card may read:
- The clock strikes midnight and up jumps Boney with a shake, rattle, and roll! Ghouls and ghosts are some of his best friends. He hangs out in castles and cupboards and is equally at home in dark, damp dungeons. While everyone sleeps he prowls and creeps and when Boney goes trick or treating he knows just how to make people jump right out of their skins.
- Boney is depicted without his scarf on the front cover of the 6497 instruction booklet.
