This page is for any requests to become a member of the Custom Quality Moderators.

To prevent excessive nominations, there is an edit and time requirement for the user to be eligible to make a request. The user must have made at least 100 mainspace edits, and have been on the wiki for at least 1 month. If the request is unsuccessful, the user will be unable to lodge a request until two months after the date the request concluded. For a request to pass, there must be at least a +3 vote count and a 60 percent positive vote percentage.

A requester may withdraw their request at any time throughout the process, but will be unable to lodge a request until two months after the date of withdrawal if the overall vote score is less than zero.

How to make a request

To make a request, use the following syntax:

=={{u|(your username)}}, Requested ~~~~~==
'''Request comments:''' (any comments here)
===Support===
===Oppose===
===Comments===

After one week, an admin who is also a CQM member will close the request and notify you of the result. An archive of past requests can be seen here.

Please note, only members of the Custom Quality Moderators are permitted to vote.

I usally look at new custom pages to see if they're up for the standards, I fix images and stuff too.

  1. Pretty good editing user, and these rights are nearly impossible to abuse, so I don't really have a problem. --Jay 20:59, October 11, 2013 (UTC)

  • I have a few here, most of them were on Brickimedia however. --Rainbow Girl Talk 21:16, October 11, 2013 (UTC)
    • Yeah, she had a theme running there. The only really active person on customs besides myself. --Jay 21:31, October 11, 2013 (UTC)
  • I'm sure you'd do fine in the role, but I don't have enough memory of your Brickimedia customs to make an informed decision I feel comfortable with, so I'll be "neutral" for now. Good luck, though! BrickfilmNut (talk) 23:03, October 11, 2013 (UTC)
Just as well, because you can't vote until your CQM request passes. --Jay 23:09, October 11, 2013 (UTC)
Drat, forgot! *facepalm* BrickfilmNut (talk) 23:11, October 11, 2013 (UTC)

I think it's time I'm part of the CQM. I make customs a lot and I think I have matured for the role. I think we need some more active CQMs (like me) because of all these customs that are being made. A lot of the customs I see violate the requirements for an acceptable custom, but I can't rate them.

  1. Like I said before, CQM rights are well nigh impossible to abuse, and Knight's been acting really well whenever I've seen him. --Jay 21:44, October 11, 2013 (UTC)

  3. Active in the custom namespace, a responsible user, Knight would do well at the job. Per ErkelonJay as well. Unsigned comment by BrickfilmNut (talk • contribs).

I am quite active on the Customs namespace, often fixing old customs of mine or updating them, and every so often making new ones. I think I can handle these rights, as I always check the quality of customs. I see a lot of unrated customs which usually don't meet AC standards. --LFY1547 02:18, November 16, 2013 (UTC)
