*Good idea. I never thought of that, but who would be the judge of the "maker of conversation"? {{User:Darth henry/Sig}} 16:44, December 28, 2012 (UTC)

** A mod would step in and make conversation about maybe something interesting or a new LEGO set or something along those lines. This would only need to happen if there is awkward silence. {{User:Klagoer/sig}} 16:47, December 28, 2012 (UTC)

MoS Forums - New Requirements

Have you ever been on chat and then suddenly everyone starts talking about something exciting and then everything stops... and five minutes later... I think this happens way to much and it gets so awkward especially for new users who want to get to know the community better. That is why I am suggesting a new requirement for mods: Must be able to make conversation. That would make it so where it isn't awkward and uncomfortable. Mods are so supposed to be people built around moderating chat where many new users go to when first coming to the wiki. It shouldn't be uncomfortable for them because mods are technically supposed to be the helpers in chat and not people who sit around until something bad happens. What are your thoughts on the new requirement?
