Brickipedia is hosting its first contest, with four prizes to be won. These prizes are:
- 7915 Imperial V-wing Starfighter
- Two Star Wars movie guides
- Two US $20 Star Wars vouchers
- Star Wars magnet collection
To go in to the draw, simply write a review on a Star Wars themed set. If you are not familiar with writing reviews on Brickipedia, please see Brickipedia:Reviews/Guide to Reviews and Brickipedia:Reviews/Manual of Requirements before writing your review.
Rules
- Users must be a registered Wikia user, and have made at least one edit to Brickipedia before 0:00, December 16, 2011 (UTC).
- Reviews must be written by the user, and must be written after 0:00, December 16, 2011 (UTC), but before 0:00, December 26, 2011 (UTC). This is in 7 days time. If any content is found to have been plagiarised, the user will be immediately disqualified from the competition.
- One entry per user. Users must list the review that they wish to enter at Brickipedia:Star Wars Contest 2011/Entries before the contest closes. Any entries after this time will not be accepted. If an entry is edited after the contest's closing time, the last revision before the closing date will be reviewed, not the current version.
- Prizes are only able to be shipped to the United States or United Kingdom.
- Prizes are:
- 7915 Imperial V-wing Starfighter
- Two Star Wars movie guides
- Two US $20 Star Wars vouchers
- Star Wars magnet collection
- First place may choose from one of the four prizes, then second from the three remaining prizes, then third from the remaining two, with fourth place taking the last available reward
- After the contest closes, entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges. These judges consist of:
- Winners will need to provide via email their real names and postal addresses so that prizes may be sent to them. Any information gathered will not be used by Brickipedia other than to pass on the information to Wikia so that prizes can be shipped.
- Winners will be announced on January 3rd, 2011.
- Remember, if you are unable to compete in this competition, don't let that stop you from writing reviews- there's always the chance that your review can be showcased on our main Brickipedia Reviews page as a featured review.
- Special thanks to Wikia, particularly Bchwood for providing the prizes and shipping them to the winners.
