Bruno Madrigal is an Ideas Disney minifigure introduced in 2024.
Background[]
Bruno was one of the triplet children of Alma and Pedro Madrigal, whose family took up residence in the Encanto magically created after the death of his father Pedro. The family also received an enchanted home, the Casa Madrigal, and beginning with Bruno and his sisters each member born into the family would receive a magical gift. Bruno received the ability to experience visions of the future. Unfortunately, the upcoming misfortunes he thus became privy to led many to shun him.
After his niece Mirabel failed to receive a gift, Bruno was asked to look into the future. The vision he received seemed to predict that Mirabel would either destroy the family’s home and magic or save it. Uncertain how to interpret this, and fearing how Mirabel would be treated if it became known, Bruno took action. He broke the recreation of his vision into pieces and hid them before disappearing, seemingly without a trace.
In reality, Bruno had taken up residence behind the walls of Casa Madrigal, staying close to his family despite not being on the best terms with them. He was eventually found by Mirabel and asked to use his powers again in the hopes that they could save the magic. Ultimately, the house would collapse, but the event helped the members of the family find healing for their long buried trauma. They thus worked together to rebuild the house, with Bruno rejoining his family in living there openly.
