Captain Ennio LaQuay wears a bright blue naval frock coat over a red-and-white striped shirt, along with a pair of brown leather belts. He has black pants, although his right leg is replaced with a titanium metallic peg leg. He also wears warm gold epaulets as a shoulder accessory, and a black bicorne adorned with white feathers and a Jolly Roger printing. His face is reused from Captain Redbeard's 2015 minifigure, featuring an eyepatch, reddish-orange eyebrows and beard, and a wide-open mouth exposing several golden teeth on his lower jaw.

Pirate Captain Ennio LaQuay is a feared pirate, known for being the holder of The Black Dot. He is the husband of DJ Captain Mary LaQuay, who fell in love at first sight, and they form a notorious pirate duo. Their children Private LaQuay, Sergeant Ernest LaQuay, and Cadet Rita LaQuay rebelled against their parents by joining the Imperial Soldiers and Imperial Guards, and Ennio has frequently been arrested by his children, typically around Father's Day and his birthday.
