Class 3 article

Captain Jag is a Clone Pilot from the 2010 Star Wars: The Clone Wars set 8088 ARC-170 Starfighter.

Description

Captain Jag is similar in appearance to the other 2010 Clone Pilot, except for his helmet markings. He features the new torso design, which is similar to the Episode III Clone Pilots, except that his helmet has an opening in the front.

Background

CT-55/11-9009, also known as Jai'galaar in Mando'a or simply Jag, was a clone trooper captain who served the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Jag originally served as a Clone Commander at the First Battle of Geonosis, but was demoted to captain after the Battle of Katraasii, where he embarassed himself in a hasty retreat. However, Jedi General Plo Koon drafted the captain as a test pilot for the new ARC-170 starfighters. During the battle over Cato Neimoidia, Jag served as a wingman to Koon and executed the Jedi after Order 66 was issued by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.
