"Thomas Blake was a world-famous big-cat trapper who grew bored of hunting and decided to become a super-villain. Inspired by Batman™, he made himself a cat-themed costume, complete with a utility belt containing cat-lines, cat-arangs and other gadgets. Although many of his fellow villains consider him a laughingstock, Catman™ is a fierce fighter with his own unique sense of honor!" —

Catman is a DC Comics minifigure who appeared in The LEGO Batman Movie in 2017. He was physically released in 71017 The LEGO Batman Movie Series.

Thomas Blake was a world famous trapper, hunter and trainer of big cats. After squandering his fortune and growing bored of his hunting career, he was driven into a life of crime. Having a hatred for Catwoman, he tried to take up her gimmick during a time when she was absent in the criminal underworld.

Using his skills, trained big-cats, claws, cat-themed weapons, and an ancient African cloth costume he believed gave him nine-lives, Thomas started committing cat-themed crimes. Of course he was defeated by Batman and Catwoman alike on numerous occasions.

After many failures on his own, Catman became a member of Killer Moth's super villain team "The Misfits" which included Calendar Man and the Chancer. Thomas was later recruited by Lex Luthor and Deathstroke to join the secret society of super-villains but refused their offer. Upset that such a nobody villain rebuked them, the Secret Society killed Thomas's pride of lions which resulted in Thomas joining the antihero team of the Secret Six alongside: Scandal Savage, Rag Doll, Deadshot, Cheshire and a Parademon. Here Catman became close with Deadshot and the team eventually rebranded as a mercenary company.

  • He was voiced by Thomas F. Wilson in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, who also played Biff Tannen and his great-grandfather, Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen from Back to the Future trilogy, in addition to several supporting characters he voiced in SpongeBob SquarePants.
