The Chimp is a new animal figure that comes with the Zookeeper from 8805 Minifigures Series 5 and the Jungle Boy from 8831 Minifigures Series 7.
It is distinguishable from the Monkey because it is smaller, and has no tail. Some mistake it for the monkey, and accidentally label it so. Its right hand is specially made to be able to be held.
Description
The Chimp sits on one stud. It is mainly black, par its face and ears. The chimp is moulded sitting down. It's left hand is on it's knee, and its right is over it's head. The right hand is shaped like a normal minifigure hand and can hold minifigure accessories. The arm is designed so a minifigure can hold the chimp. The chimp's head is rounded as well as it's ears. Inside the ears are flesh coloured cemi circles. The chimps face takes up a large portion of the front of the head. It is flesh coloured. The face is smiling and has a curved black mouth, two black nostrils which are shaped like rectangles, it's eyes are black with white pupils.
Background
There are two known chimps. One lives in the zoo, and is cared for by the Zookeeper. The other lives in the jungle along side its owner Jungle Boy.
