Christofern is the two hundredth episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu
Plot [ ] Garmadon reluctantly welcomes Lloyd and Wu into Vinny 's apartment and begins to tell them about how he ended up staying with the cameraman. Following the battle with the Oni , Garmadon found himself at a loss as to what to do with himself. After some ill-fated attempts to help other people, he decided to go to Vinny for help, recalling their previous conversation. Though initially panicked at his appearance, Vinny agreed to let Garmadon stay with him and try to guide him in learning to understand goodness.
Garmadon attempted to follow Vinny's advice, transforming into a somewhat less-threatening two-armed form and made continued efforts to make a positive contribution to society. Later, Vinny gifted him with a houseplant as a means of teaching him empathy; Garmadon dubbed it Christofern and soon bonded with it. Lloyd, not buying what he sees as a deceitful act on Garmadon's part, returns to the matter of the newspaper clippings Garmadon had been sending Wu. Garmadon notes that it had seemed obvious to him that the Overlord would be returning, but he had wished to avoid becoming involved with Wu and the Ninja again.
Fed up with his father's behavior, Lloyd begins to leave with Wu, only for the apartment to be damaged by the invading Vengestone Army . Chrisotfern is harmed as a result, and Garmadon abandons his policy of noninvolvement and non-violence in a rage. Assuming a new Oni Form-complete with horned mask, four arms, and demon wings-he begins attacking the invaders. Upon realizing that Garmadon is unaffected by the Vengestone Army's powers, Wu wonders whether the key to beating the Overlord may not lie in the Oni Form, which Lloyd has the potential to unlock as well.
