Colonel Herman Dietrich is a LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures minifigure introduced in 2008. He uses a pistol as his primary weapon.
Background
Dietrich was an officer in the german army who was assigned to retrieve the Ark of the Covenant, with fellow officer Toht, and an archaeologist named Belloq.
He was in charge of a camp in Egypt, where the germans were digging for the ark. Belloq noticed another group of diggers. They discovered Indiana Jones and Sallah were in charge of this group.
Indy was trapped in the Well of Souls, with Marion Ravenwood, and the Ark fell into the hands of the germans.
Indy managed to escape, and hijacked the truck containing the Ark. The germans tracked the ark to a boat belonging to Captain Katanga, not knowing Indy was onboard.
Jones, disguised as a german lieutenant, infiltrated the german`s base, but was captured.
When the ark was opened, it killed all the germans - blowing up Belloq, melting Toht, shrinking Dietrich, and electrocuting the rest of the soldiers.
