Comic-Con Exclusive Batman of Zur-En-Arrh Giveaway is a Comic Con exclusive giveaway set released in 2014.

Description

Batman of Zur-En-Arrh is a minifigure with an exclusive purple cowl. Zur-En-Arrh's face is double sided. One being an open grin, yet the other an angry expression with a stubble. The figure also includes a red torso which has a new yellow belt design. The torso is a muscular one with a new Bat-symbol as well. He is included with yellow arms that have purple hands. The back of the torso has back muscle and the back of the belt. In one of the pouches it features a walkie-talkie. The hips are purple as well as the legs. They are printed with some red to give the look of purple tights and boots. Batman of Zur-En-Arrh also has a plain purple cape and a Baseball Bat. Previously used by the Baseball Player.

Background

Batman of Zur-En-Arrh is a personality set up by Bruce Wayne just incase his cover is blown and the world knows he is Batman. This Batman is proven to be almost insane and is there to have the world try to cope with him, trying to counteract the fact that Bruce Wayne is Batman.

In an alternate universe, he is the Batman of another planet, a separate person from Bruce Wayne, and completely sane. However, after the Crisis on Infinite Earths, this Batman is no longer known to exist.

Notes

• This is the only Batman minifigure released, to date, depicting an open grin.
  • This is also the only one that depicts an angry face with a stubble.
• This is currently the only Batman figure to use a baseball bat rather than a batarang.
• This is the only Batman to include a purple cowl and cape.
  • The cape, surprisingly, does not include 'ridges' like the usual Batman capes do. Instead it is just a regular cape.
  • The cape is also similar to that of Magneto's Classic variation from the 2012 Marvel line.
