Cornelius Fudge is a minifigure who appeared in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4.
Background
Cornelius Fudge was the Minister for Magic from 1990 to 1996. Despite being a persuasive, confident, and intelligent individual, he often valued bureaucracy over pragmatism. His refusal to believe Lord Voldemort's rebirth and his paranoid fear that Professor Dumbledore wanted to overthrow him led to Fudge using his influence over the Daily Prophet to ridicule and slander Harry Potter and Dumbledore. Fudge appointed Professor Umbridge as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to spy on Hogwarts and teach the students useless defensive theory. After it was made clear of the Dark Lord's return, Fudge was dismissed as minister and was replaced by Rufus Scrimgeour.[1]
