Background[]
Hawkeye meets the mysterious girl known as Cherry, whose real name is Darlene Penelope Wright, when she sells him her own 1970 Dogde Challenger. The two are instantly attracted to one another and wind up in bed. It is then that Cherry gets kidnapped by the Tracksuit Mafia for reasons unknown. Hawkeye and his partner Kate Bishop manage to save Cherry, after which she leaves town by plane, but not before a goodbye kiss. Later she returns and brings Clint to help her steal a safe from the Tracksuit Mafia by attacking them while she gets the safe. He is arrested and the safe remains locked, but Clint has fallen somewhat in love with her.
