- ―Dalek Emperor to Wyldstyle, Gandalf, and Batman, LEGO Dimensions
Dalek Emperor is a non-playable antagonist in LEGO Dimensions from the Doctor Who franchise.
Background[]
Several Dalek Emperors, varying in design, have existed throughout the period of the Daleks' existence.
Perhaps the most infamous Dalek Emperor ruled over his race during the Last Great Time War, in which the Daleks battled against the Time Lords. He was thought to have perished, along with the rest of his species, after the Doctor (in his "War" incarnation) activated the device known as the Moment. In truth, the Doctor's various incarnations from across time banded together to transport Gallifrey, the Time Lord homeworld, outside of time. Its disappearance caused the Dalek ships surrounding the planet to strike each other with their fire, resulting in the apparent obliteration of the fleet.
The Emperor's ship somehow survived the barrage, though badly damaged, and escaped the temporal lock surrounding the Time War. Making its way into the distant future of Earth, the ship hid itself and observed humanity in secret. The Emperor, with his forces depleted, began using human genetic material to cultivate a new race of Daleks. These Daleks were driven insane by both their isolation and the fact that they were derived from humans. The Emperor, meanwhile, came to regard himself as a god to his newly reborn race.
The Doctor, now in his ninth incarnation, eventually discovered the existence of the Dalek Emperor and his fleet. In response, the Emperor began attacking Earth, threatening to wipe out the defenseless human race. The Doctor prepared to unleash an attack that would wipe out both humans and Daleks, but-believing he had wiped out his own race and the Daleks previously-refused to make use of it. Fortunately, his companion Rose Tyler absorbed the power of the Time Vortex from the Doctor's TARDIS, and used it to wipe out the Emperor and his fleet.
