Danny Phantom[]
Danny Fenton is the teenaged son of ghost hunters Jack and Madeline Fenton. One day, his parents invented a device that could open a portal to an alternate dimension known as the Ghost Zone. After the initial failure of the Ghost Portal, Danny ventured into the device, per the suggestion of his friend Sam Manson, and accidentally activated it from within, bombarding his DNA with ghostly energy. Recovering from the experience, he realized that he was now a human-ghost hybrid with a variety of supernatural abilities. While coming to grips with his newfound powers, a duel with a ghost at his school sets him up on the path to becoming the ghost-hunting superhero Danny Phantom, battling a variety of rogue forces from the Ghost Zone while also trying to maintain a normal life and keep his identity a secret.
