David Koepp is an American screenwriter who wrote the scripts for Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Background

In the film The Lost World he plays for the man in San Diego who is eaten by the Tyrannosaurus rex. When he breaks from the fleeing masses and tries to enter a video store, the Tyrannosaurus singles him out and devours him, giving him an unlucky and gruesome death.
