Dr. Cyber,[1][2] also known as Professor Nockelberg[3] or Professor Cyber,[4][5][6] is a minifigure from the Time Cruisers theme. He debuted in the Timebuster comics in 1995,[3] but was not released as a physical minifigure until 1996.
Background[]
Dr. Cyber goes back in time with Tim Timebuster and collects hats from different times. He has a pet monkey named Ingo and a robot named Cranky. He tries to alter the Space-Time Continuum as little as possible.
Originally, Professor Nockelberg was Max Timebuster's grandfather in the Timebuster comics.[3] However, this is not mentioned in the comic's reboot in World Club Magazine.[6] According to the comic's writer/illustrator Kim Hagen, Dr. Cyber is Tim's uncle in the rebooted Time Cruiser comics.[7] The comics also reveal that Professor Cyber's brother is Professor Articus,[8] which by extension would include Johnny Thunder and Josh Thunder in his extended family.

- In the German audio dramas, Prof. Cyber is voiced by Edgar Bessen. Karallus had also voiced the Polizeirat (Police Councillor) in the Town audio drama Gangster, Gauner und Ganoven.
- Dr. Cyber was at one point planned to appear in LEGO Racers, but was ultimately cut from the game.[9]
