Dr. Jeremiah Arkham is an ally of Batman who appears in the DS version of LEGO Batman: The Videogame.
Background[]
Dr. Jeremiah Arkham was the nephew of Amadeus Arkham, the founder of Arkham Asylum who went insane and became an inmate himself. When Jeremiah grew up, he became responsible for the establishment's running.
Jeremiah was incapable of rehabilitating any of the inmates however and during his time as head of Arkham, the facility's reputation diminished. Inmates would break out regularly, patients would stay insane, and even staff-members would go insane. This of-course lead to Jeremiah likewise going insane and becoming institutionalized just as his uncle was.
