Dream Team is a Ninjago special that acts as a crossover between that series and Dreamzzz.
Summary[]
The Ninja find themselves traveling through the Ninjago countryside using theirvehiclesfromthewar with the Vengestone Army as well as the Legendary Dragon. Having no idea where they're going or why, they soon spot an ominous black cloud forming over a nearby village. They also meet a group of children, one of whom is a boy named Jan who claims to be "Emperor of Ninjago." The village falls under attack from shadowy creatures, and the Ninja soon notice other oddities, such as their possession of the Four Golden Weapons and Kai inexplicably having the power of Wind rather than fire.
Kai and the so-called Emperor, who mentions a "Ninjago marathon" to his friends, are seized by a Grimkeeper, but saved by the timely arrival of Zoey and Zian. As the Ninja grow more and more baffled, Zoey calls upon her friends for help. Cooper, Izzie, Logan, and Mateo, together with Bunchu and Z-Blob, promptly arrive to join the battle. They soon notice that the Nightmares are not harming the kids from their world, and deduce that the Nightmare King is up to something.
The Nightmare Shark Ship then arrives, and Sneak seizes Jan and Max on the Night Hunter's orders. With the battle thus interrupted, Izzie quickly begins gushing over Nya, who is perturbed by the girl's speaking as though she's a television character. In response to the Ninja's inquiries, Logan reveals that they are currently in a dream, inspired by Jan's dreams after a Ninjago marathon. Zoey takes charge after these revelations and orders the Ninja to join her and her friends aboard their various vehicles and mounts, including Cooper's car.
The heroes quickly deduce that the Nightmare King seeks to claim Jan's "crown" and thus gain power over all dreams related to Ninjago. Aboard the Shark Ship, the Night Hunter interrogates his two captives, and anticipates his master gaining control of the elemental powers of the Ninja. His deliberations are interrupted, however, when the Destiny's Bounty, crewed by Master Wu and Pixal, appears to challenge the Shark Ship. The Grimspawn begin attacking the Bounty, with some of the Ninja and Dream Chasers coming to Wu and Pixal's aid while the others rescue another of Jan's friends from the Grimspawn on the ground.
Following advice from Mateo, Kai puts his wind powers to use to save the Bounty from crashing into the ground after its damaged by the Grimpsawn. Mateo and Z-Blob help get the ship airborn again, and Logan and Zoey rescue the captives from the Shark Ship. The Bounty then rams the evil vessel out of Jan's dream, thus restoring the Ninjago scenery to normal. Jan and his friends then wake up, with the Dream Chasers expressing the hope that the Nightmare King won't dare to threaten Ninjago dreams again. They also assure the Ninja that they'll visit when they have the opportunity.
At Francine Wooley Middle School the next day, the Dream Chasers meet the awakened Jan, who as expected doesn't remember his dream. However, he does remember the marathon that inspired it, and expresses the desire to hold further LEGO based marathons.

This is the second piece of media to feature Ninjago and Dreamzzz character interacting, after a series of Ninjago shorts that promoted the release of Dreamzzz.
Upon hearing a description of the Grimspawn, Lloyd initially questions whether they are Oni.
Lloyd briefly mistakes Zoey's Dream abilities for the powers of Acronix and Krux, the Hands of Time. The other Dream Chasers are also briefly mistaken for Elemental Masters of Sand.
