Plot

Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

Trapped and being attacked by Ripper Sharks, the crew of the Hydro Bounty are unexpectedly saved when Prince Benthomaar opens a door letting them out of the dead end where they have been trapped. He informs them that he is aware of Prince Kalmaar's duplicity and that King Trimaar is dead, before leading them through the palace of Merlopia towards their ship. He tricks a patrol of guards into leaving the door leading to the Hydro Bounty, only for the group to run into more guards at the dock. Following a short-lived attempt to bluff their way through, Lloyd enters one of the APS suits to give him and his friends an edge in the ensuing battle.

P.I.X.A.L. rushes to get the sub up and running, while Gripe reports the escape of the Ninja while the Maaray Guards Benthomaar deceived arrive in the throne room. When he arrives at the dock, Lloyd holds him and his guards off while the others board the Hydro Bounty and launch it. A high speed chase ensues, during which Kalmaar orders his forces to open fire on the Hydro Bounty despite the danger their fire poses to the citizens of Merlopia. Fortunately, Benthomaar is able to guide his new friends to a tunnel through which they can escape, which P.I.X.A.L. is able to collapse behind them by deploying several Wu-Bots to draw Kalmaaar's fire. With their pursuers thwarted, the Hydro Bounty crew set their sights on obtaining the Storm Amulet and insuring that Kalmaar cannot obtain it to awaken Wojira.
