Background[]

As revealed in "Writers of Destiny", Euphrasia is one of the Writers of Destiny and, notably, became one of the Elemental Masters-specifically the Master of Wind-following the events of the Merge. This made her the successor to Morro, but she concealed her newfound powers due to her people's belief in noninterference. She was eventually found out after using her powers to assist the Ninja during their battle with a creature that emerged from a MergeQuake rift to threaten the Cloud Kingdom. Arin and Sora soon approached her and tried to persuade her to share her powers with her people, but Euphrasia was reluctant to take such action.

However, when the same creature and two of its fellows returned to attack, Euphrasia put aside her fears in order to protect her people and their would-be defenders. Together, Euphrasia and her new friends succeeded in saving the Cloud Kingdom. Her actions also helped Suetonius, the Master Writer, see that some changes might be in order for their realm. Suetonius asked Euphrasia if she would help him usher in that change.

By the time of "Shattered Dreams", Euphrasia has become the defender of the Cloud Kingdom, but she meets her match when another Elemental Master arrived in company with the villainous Lord Ras and his Wolf Clan. Euphrasia engaged the villains, but Cinder, Elemental Master of Smoke, overpowered her and forced her to flee. Using her powers, Euphrasia attempted to fly to the Monastery of Spinjitzu to get help from the Ninja, but her strength failed her on the outskirts of Imperium. Fortunately, Percival Tartigrade happened to be present when she crash-landed and helped her to complete her journey.

Injured and limping, Euphrasia managed to return to the Cloud Kingdom with her friends and rescue a captured Suetonius, but she and the Master Writer were forced to flee as the Wolf Clan appeared. The Ninja are then forced to retreat from the Cloud Kingdom by Cinder's use of Shatterspin, leaving Euphrasia in her home realm as it lay under the domination of Lord Ras. In "The Forest of Spirits", Euphrasia is among five Writers of Destiny chosen as sacrifices in order to free the Forbidden Five from the Nether-Space. The monks were brought to the Shadow Dojo but received welcome aid as several of the Ninja arrived to rescue them.

In "Rising Ninja", the Ninja succeed in freeing Euphrasia and the others, whom they urge to flee. Euphrasia then arrives back at a portion of the Cloud Kingdom Ras had been using as a mobile base and had rigged to be destroyed. Acting quickly, she uses her Elemental Powers and unwittingly aids Cole, Zane, and Gandalaria in saving the structure from crashing into the ground and being destroyed. Sometime later, in "Enter the City of Temples", Euphrasia receives an invitation to take part in the Tournament of the Sources, and is seen accessing an elevator to the City of Temples by the Ninja as they too attempt to proceed to the tournament site.

In "Truth and Lies", Euphrasia faces Zeatrix in a round of the tournament but is defeated, thus forfeiting her Elemental Power to the Master of Shockwave. In "The Sword Shatters", Roby mentions Euphrasia as Zeatrix makes use of the power of Wind during another bout in the tournament.
