Fenris, also known as the Fenris Wolf, is a brick-built wolf from the Vikings and Creator themes.
Description[]
The original Fenris figure in Vikings is mostly black, with medium stone grey and dark stone grey used for its joints. TECHNIC elements are used for its body, while its limbs make use of Space Skeleton Arms and T-Pieces. Its head uses the newly introduced Wolf's Head, with black Plate 1X1 W/ Tooth ears, a bright red 2M Cross Axle W. Groove for its eyes, and two white Horn W. Shaft ø 3.2 teeth. The tail is a black Tip Of The Tail Ø6,47.
The new Fenris figure in Creator is much larger and sticks to using System bricks. It is predominantly black, but has prominent earth blue and reddish brown highlights. It has multiple joints allowing its neck, jaw, legs, and tail to be posed.
Background[]
In Vikings, the Fenris Wolf is a large black wolf dreaded by the Viking Warriors. In the Nov-Dec 2005 LEGO Magazine BrickMaster Edition comic, Fenris prowls at the Viking Fortress's gate while Fafnir and Nidhogg attack from the sky. Fenris is ultimately driven off by a Viking Warrior, who calls it a cowardly beast.
In Creator, the Fenris wolf is a Nordic wolf prowling near a tree with hidden jewels, where it encounters and battles four vikings.
