Ninjago World is a massive interactive play area based on the Ninjago theme. It features stores, dining options, a massive ride, various children's play features, and a theater.
The Lego Ninjago World first opened in May 2016 at the LEGOLAND California Resort before being expanded later to various resorts such as LEGOLAND Florida, LEGOLAND Billund Resort. However, it has not been expanded to most of its theme parks, presumably because of the lack of interest in Ninjago in certain countries. The area features Ninjago: The Ride along with new retail and dining options. Ninjago: The Ride is controlled by hand motions using "Maestro" technology developed by Triotech, who had previously developed the interactive Voyage to the Iron Reef dark ride at Knott's Berry Farm. A reviewer who experienced an early preview of the ride declared it "among the world's best interactive theme park attractions".
