The Mata Nui Cow is a BIONICLE combiner model that first appeared in 2001. It can be built with pieces from 8531 Pohatu and 8533 Gali. The instructions for this set were available in a 2001 LEGO Mania Magazine (now simply LEGO Magazine) or on the LEGO Club website.

History[]
The Mata Nui Cow species was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi made to inhabit the Matoran Universe.
The Mata Nui Cow is a placid animal that live in herds on the plains of Mata Nui. Although peaceful to nature they are quick to react to danger. Opponents would be wise to beware the Mata Nui Cow's horns and hooves witch it can weild with suprising speed.
After the Great Cataclysm, the population of Cows that lived in Metru Nui migrated to the grassy plains found on the newly-formed island of Mata Nui. These Cows returned to Metru Nui after the Bohrok swarms were awakened to cleanse the island.
Abilities and Traits[]
This naturally gentle Rahi becomes considerably more formidable when faced with danger, taking advantage of its sturdy horns and hooves which it quickly adopts as natural weapons.

- This combination model is sometimes referred to as the "Mukau," which is a pun of "moo-cow".
