2011 sets in 2010

Some of our early 2011 sets have also been made in 2010 in the US. I say to take some of the 2011 sets and place them in the 2010 article, since they are officially released in 2010 in the US. LEGO Lord LL 14:19, January 23, 2011 (UTC)

Oppose. As an example: The Ninjago sets were officially launched in January 2011. But several stores get those sets during December, so they are bought earlier. This procedere has been used very often, over the past years. Those themes were released in 2011, but the sets were available earlier. And putting the sets in the 2010 article will cause confusion, it's enough to state on the respective article that they were already available in December 2010.  Samdo994 talk contribs  15:49, January 23, 2011 (UTC)

Oppose. It's not a procedure by the way. The stores order from the manufacturer and they can put them out when they want. The LEGO Company can request that they don't put them out before a certain date, but TRU does anyways. BobaFett

As per the above examples. Plus it would could confusion and complexity ---It's a Kind of Madness--- Kingcjc 16:47, January 23, 2011 (UTC)

Oppose. If the set was found in stores before it's official release, then it should be stated in the notes section of the article. SKP4472 Talk [[Special:Editcount/SKP4472|Special:Editcount/SKP4472 Edits!]] Devoted Editor of Brickipedia 20:43, January 23, 2011 (UTC)

  • Per all above, it could get too confusing otherwise. And all the December 2010 sets are still known as the first 2011 wave. NightblazeSaber 10:43, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
