While looking through the recent blog posts, I have noticed that really, the only two useful + valid reasons for a blog post are a) a personal/Bricki update or b) news blogs. All other blog posts are either not useful, or can be easily contained elsewhere. (Reviews, customs, etc.) Thoughts? Jag 04:57, April 23, 2012 (UTC)
Discuss here - and if you have any blogs that you think are good and do not fit into these categories, link me to them and I'll tell you what I think. Jag 04:57, April 23, 2012 (UTC)
Userblogs can be on anything, as long as they follow policy, why any regulations? --Czech 05:08, April 23, 2012 (UTC)
Well, yeah, I've always thought of blogs as kinda useless and more distractions that anything else. With the exception of them being on-topic and can't be put elsewhere, but with the Customs and Reviews namespaces, and now the Brickiforums, I really can't see what on-topic blogs wouldn't be better suited in other places. Well, updates such as 'I am going to have reduced activity for x days' could be on userpages, and I guess the news blogs could be just Brickipedia:News Blog (date). (About F12, I was thinking that could maybe be a BrickiProject - it seems to fit in that category. You'd have to use the talk page for reporting though.) Jag 05:33, April 23, 2012 (UTC)
I completely disagree with everything you just said in the top section. :P Drewlzoo
My God people, can you just let people use their blogs as they want? Remember, it's their blogs, if they disrupt, delete. I swear if we have a "blog topic restriction rule" I will not be happy. -NBP 14:33, April 23, 2012 (UTC)
